St. Luke's Church Centre


If you are looking for a warm welcoming venue for your next event please look no further than St Luke’s Church Centre. We have 5 great spaces which are available for hire and our spaces can be opened up if your event can’t be held in one room.

So if you’re hosting a training day, conference, meetings or away days please come and have a look our church centre.

We have on-site catering for your event or you can hire our kitchen or bring your own outside catering in.

Free on site car parking on site for 20 to 25 cars on first come first served basis street parking on weekends and near to local car parks on weekdays.

0.6 Miles from New Street Train Station only 10-15 minutes light walk.

Our staff aim is to ensure your event runs smoothly and if you wish to come have a look please pop in the Church Centre is open every day (See opening hours for exact hours in the current week).

Worship Area

This provides a flexible seating area with 2 fold-back screens to the Entrance Area. It seats up to 150 theatre style or conference style.  Good natural lighting and comfortable seating make this area a very pleasant setting for conferences and can hold up to 84 cabaret style. Great open space to use for your events and can be adjusted to your event needs.

The area opens up onto the Entrance hall where refreshments are served. This area is ideal for conferences and larger groups please discuss at time of booking if you will need use of the entrance area to allow your event to run smoother.

Community Hall

Great space which can hold up to 40 people in theatre style and as a teaching/training room hold up to 24 people , the wall can also be removed and with worship space hold larger events.

Entrance Area


The Entrance area is a welcoming space where we can serve refreshments and food. The Community Hall and Worship Area lead off this space, and the serving hatch to the kitchen opens up to allow food and drink to be served from the counter. The corridor to the meeting rooms and the toilets is accessed from here


There is a screen that rolls down over the serving hatch to close off the kitchen if this is desired.

  • Free Standing screen, OHP, Flipcharts, tables

Parking for 30 vehicles on-site including disabled spaces, the site has level access throughout and disabled facilities.

Other Information

St Luke's Church Centre does not take bookings for parties.


If children are included in your letting it will be necessary for the PCC to be shown a full copy of the group’s Child Protection Policy before the letting begins.
